Subject: Thoroughly enjoyable!
It's so much fun to see a program from 1949 celebrating television's 10th anniversary. It brings things into perspective, actually, when you consider that this program is 62 years old!

Subject: 10 Year Anniversary
NBC seems to be "still selling" television at the ten year anniversary. I enjoyed the historical clips from the 30's and 40's. My favorite part of the program is the final act.

Subject: Time warp x 2
I love the '39 World's Fair ... it's great to see it from this 10-years-removed 1949 perspective.

Subject: Interestingly Odd
An interestingly odd mix of newsreel clips, kinescopes clips, and live musical performances in this 1949 broadcast. While some of it is questionable (including the final music act), the programme is still enjoyable and worth watching.

On that subject, Kyle also appears on another item in this section, an episode of "Cavalcade of Stars".
